Abstract

This article discusses the role of students in the new average era during the covid-19 pandemic. The part of santri is expected to be a pioneer of change in overcoming problems that arise from the impact of the pandemic. Among these impacts are the emergence of violence, intolerance, and the economy. This article aims to find out how the effect of the covid-19 pandemic has on the order of human life and to find out how the progress of the turba santri in reviewing humanity is. This article uses a descriptive qualitative method. The results of this article show that santri turba are present as pioneers and driving efforts to actualize national values ??and nationalism in maintaining the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. This is because students are identities who are equipped with religious knowledge from the fields of monotheism, philosophy, fiqh, history, and economics who have the enormous task of continuing the relay of struggle to maintain the existence of Islamic civilization in the archipelago. Turba students are also expected to be able to revive community micro or medium entrepreneurship, which is sourced from local livelihoods.
