Before marriage or marriage contract is carried out, there are several processes that must be carried out, including proposing. The implementation of this proposal in each region has its own uniqueness. One of the areas that has a uniqueness in this proposal process is in Eromoko Village, Eromoko District, Wonogiri Regency. In the village there is a custom of marriage called prajanjen. This custom of marriage is a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation in Eromoko which requires the bride-to-be to make and sign a letter of agreement. Seeing the uniqueness of these customs, this study explores the implementation of the prajanjen tradition in Eromoko Village and how to analyze Islamic values in the implementation of the prajanjen tradition in Eromoko Village. To answer the two problem formulations, the researcher used a qualitative research method that is descriptive analysis by taking a location in Eromoko Village, Eromoko District, Wonogiri Regency. The research data was collected by in-depth interview techniques. After the data is collected, data analysis is carried out with an Islamic law approach. The results of this study are, first, the prajanjen is an agreement between the two parties, but in general it contains sanctions or fines that must be paid for those who cancel first. If it is in the form of a fine, then the fine will be given to the aggrieved party, namely the bride-to-be and the village, which is then used as a village treasury fund. However, this pre-election general is only applied to those who will get married within the next six months or one year. Furthermore, this tradition of prajanjen does not contradict Islamic values because it prioritizes deliberation in every action and consequence of sanctions.
