Analisis Hukum Islam Pada Tradisi Mbecek Pernikahan (Studi Kasus di Desa Talun Kecamatan Ngebel Kabupaten Ponorogo)

Abstract

The mbecek tradition is a habit of providing assistance in the form of money or goods by the community, especially the Javanese tribe. This habit has become a necessity and is contrary to the principle of volunteerism by expecting reciprocity and will be recorded by the owner of the needs, such as saving or sharing, competition and there are social sanctions for people who do not donate or return donations. So, this research will discuss the practice of mbecek in Talun Village, Ngebel District, Ponorogo Regency as well as an analysis of Islamic law regarding the necessity of participating in the mbecek tradition. This research is field research and includes qualitative descriptive research, data collection through interview techniques, observation and documentation. The mbecek tradition has been going on since time immemorial, given voluntarily with the aim of strengthening ties. Later this tradition turned into the practice of exchanging records. The goal is to make returns easier. Judging from Islamic law, this is permissible because it is included in Sahih Urf if it does not burden one of the parties, it can also become fasid Urf and is considered makruh if it becomes a burden for one of the parties.
