Pembelajaran Ketrampilan Mendengar Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Arab Kelas X MA Ma’arif Nadhlatul Ummah Ponorogo

Abstract

Language plays an important role in everyday life to communicate. Arabic is the language used for communication by Arabs. In addition, Arabic has the privilege of being the language used in the Qur'an, not only that, Arabic is also an important part of scientific literacy in the Islamic tradition. This encourages Arabic to be studied in madrasas with the aim of being able to master Arabic so that students can use it in various academic and religious contexts. The research is a field research with an approach using a qualitative research method with a descriptive type. This study intends to reveal the phenomena that occur at Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif Nahdlatul Ummah Ponorogo, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely through the following activities or stages: Data reduction, Data presentation (Data Display), Conclusion drawing. Learning listening skills in Arabic subjects in Class X MA Ma'arif Nahdlatul Ummah Ponorogo is faced with linguistic and non-linguistic problems, such as diverse student backgrounds, lack of interest in learning, minimal exposure to Arabic audio, and low student concentration. Solutions that can be implemented include adjusting the material to the students' conditions and increasing the allocation of learning time to increase the effectiveness of Arabic language mastery.
