Abstract

Strategy is a method used to learn. Educators must pay attention to strategies in the teaching and learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved. Students are not only able to understand from the cognitive or knowledge but also its skills. Motivation has a very important role in learning. The motivation that a person has will determine the success of a job even though the activity is indicated by nature, talent, and skills. The purpose of this study is to find out how the strategies used by the teacher to increase the motivation to learn Fiqh, what factors influence it, and the solution, and what effect it has on the environment or the learning process. The research method is qualitative using case studies, namely in-depth and contextual analysis. As consequently it can be concluded that the Active learning strategy can increase the learning motivation of Class VII students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ma'arif 02 Pacitan in 2019/2020 so that the learning process is more fun and not boring for the students.
