Abstract

This study uses a case study method, namely the researcher directly observes and conducts research on the institution to be studied. This step is done so that researchers can better understand the character and skills of students in reading Arabic texts carefully and more deeply. This research was conducted in class X IPA MA Al-Mukarom Mukarom which is located on Jl. Raden Fatah No. 11 villages Kauman district. Sumoroto kab. Ponorogo, East Java. many students have difficulty in pronouncing some hijaiyah letters such as the letter sin (?) replaced with lafadz sin (?), the letter dlad (?) replaced with the letter had (?), errors in the pronunciation of the letters and others. collecting data through observation, the researcher also used the interview method to the Arabic language teacher at the institution. The solution is the use of varied methods that can make students not bored during the learning process, motivate the form of giving Arabic vocabulary ranging from 5-10 in which the Arabic vocabulary is Arabic vocabulary which is intended to further stimulate student learning interest.
