Abstract

The world of Islamic education is changing very quickly, digitalization of education has brought major changes, the classroom is not the only place for learning, but the virtual world can also become a campus. Amid the 4.0 era, several were replaced by artificial intelligence. Because of this rapid change, the teacher's role must be more than teaching, but also managing student learning. Teachers need to be more flexible, creative, interesting, and fun for students. The era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 was a disruptive era in which a lot of human labor began to be eliminated, and replaced by robot technology. Therefore, the world of education must carry out a revolution by inviting students to want and be able to become creative, broad-minded, and courageous human beings. Students must be equipped with strong character, qualified competence, and, literacy (openness of insight). Therefore a teacher is here to know and identify the needs for the development of Islamic religious education in the current era and must be able to adapt to developments and changes in the current era with high competence so that they arcanopyop and adapt to the 4.0 era.
