Abstract

Basically the Al-Qur'an must be taught from an early age and instill the values? Contained therein, to become the foundation of guidelines in his life. Teaching reading Al-Qur'an must be in accordance with the rules with good and correct reading. This study used a qualitative approach by interviewing informants, namely teachers, principals and students. The purpose of this research is to reveal the implementation of learning the UMMI method, what are the implications, what are the inhibiting and supporting factors in its implementation and the solutions in solving it. The results showed that the implementation was systematic, the students had increased their ability to read the Al-Qur’an, the supporting factors were certified educators and the completeness of the facilities, while the obstacles were the differences in students' comprehension of the material, the solution was that students were grouped and taught according to their level of understanding.
